Description:   Nozzle, most of bottom and some of top preserved. An additional piece of top found in going through sherds.
Long pointed nozzle with relief decoration on top; a tall vase (?) with vertical ribbing, and its top a flower. On rim, raised ribs. On sides remains of decorated lugs. Narrow plain rim; low raised base.
Dull black glaze almost all flaked away.
Sandy light gray clay.
Type XVIII (?) of Corinth collection, type 45A of Agora collection.
ADDENDA 28/9/1951: Mr. Rowe notes this as the only example of a type XVIII lamp, which he has seen here which is of a short found commonly in Egypt. He considers it probably 1st. century B.C., and notes that it is commonly also at Delos; might been late Delian.
Restored in plaster since photographing.
Context:   Cistern, lower fill; dump.
