Description: | Mended from several pieces; the end of the nozzle missing and fragments from the bottom. Flat sunken discus, surrounded by a ridge, rim plain save for two knobs; angular shoulder; slightly concave base set off by two low rings. Nozzle angular in section; on its top a deep groove in which is an air hole. On reverse, in high relief: PRONTO". Dull blackish or brownish wash outside, very thin. Brittle orange-red clay. Type XXVI of Corinth collection. | |
