Description:   Two joining fragments preserve part of the rim, nozzle, disk and wall of a very large lamp.
Rim, cable pattern, with dots in the loops, between two laurel wreaths; near the edge, row of dots. At the nozzle, large volute.
Discus, bust of a draped figure, three-quarters view: probably Athena. A curl hangs down over the left shoulder, and in the field behind is what appears to be the tip of the tail of a helmet-crest.
Unglazed.
Pale greenish-buff clay.

Context:   Burnt layer in front of retaining wall of Middle Stoa.
