Description: | Intact except for chips from nozzle. Rim, panelled herringbone; discus, man and dog. The man wears a short chiton, a cloak, and boots (?); his left hand hold one end of the cloak; in his right is a whip. The dog jumps up in front of his left leg. Handle double grooved, pierced; reverse, within two concentric grooves, the letters "E Y", incised. Unglazed. Pinkish clay. Type XXVIII of Corinth collection. Cf. L 3513. | |
