Title:   Two Nozzle Lamp

Description:   Lamp with two opposite nozzles and solid projection in center of infundibulum.
Rounded body, sloping in towards top.
On rim, narrow band round large filling hole; set off from body by deep unglazed groove.
Small, deep nozzle; flat on top.
High base, unglazed beneath, and rising in a hollow cone for ca. 0.012m. Inside, the projection which this cone implies continues slightly above the sides of the lamp, where it is broken off. In the center of the broken end of this projection is a small hole, diameter ca. 0.003m. Remains of a socket for setting one lamp upon another (?).
Mottled red to black glaze inside and out.
Attic clay.
