Plain discus, concave, with ridges round outer edge.
On nozzle, degenerate volutes affording transition to rim.
High vertical handle, grooved.
On bottom, narrow raised ring, enclosing large "A".
Remains of purplish wash; much blackened.
Dark red clay.
Type XX of Corinth collection.
ADDENDA A ridge, lenghtwise across the bottom half of the lamp, suggests that the mold was cracked before using.
Context:   Well. Found in going through mud.
