Title:   White Ground Lekythos

Description:   Neck and handle broken off; repaired. Small hole pierced through side. A woman in almost invisible chiton brings to a grave monument a basket(?) with streamers hanging from it. Shoulder ornament as on P 10277 (ΟΧ 11); somewhat inferior execution. Line as on P 10277, but a little brighter; hair quite red. Red for four fillets hanging from the basket and for most tied to stele. Black for three fillets from basket and one near top of stele, also tassel of strings of fillets, wreath around basket, wreaths in basket. Glaze lines as on P 10277.
