Title:   Red Figure Lebes Gamikos

Description:   Three fragments:
a) From the lebes. Upper part of a female figure right. She wears thin chiton, embroidered head band and earring, and carries a large casket, ornamented with bosses and with a double row of egg and dot pattern, in her outstretched arms. An embroidered scarf falls over her right hand. Behind her, a bit of drapery; above, handle attachments, with tongues between.
b) From the stand. Part of a woman, right, carrying a box; facing her, the hand of another figure holding a large plemochoe, a scarf over the hand. A small scarf in the field beween the two figures. Maeander above.
c) From the stand. A cushioned stool, with an embroidered scarf falling in front of it; from the right, an extended right hand holding a mirror. Bit of drapery at extreme left. Some object in field above mirror.
d) Fragment of flaring base, black; tongues above and part of a foot.
e) From lower part, with tongues and foot left.
f) From upper part, bit of drapery.
A little relief contour on a), none on b) or c). Brown wash on the mirror; some brown shading on drapery. b) and c) put together with plaster.
