Title:   Black Glaze Lekanis Fragment

Description:   Mended from two pieces; about one-third of the rim and side preserved, with most of one handle. Rim and handle worn. Low flaring ring foot, unglazed beneath; rim projects very slightly.
Black glazed, with reserved band around rim outside and center inside. The handle, set in the reserved band, is glazed on the outside, and a smeary line of glaze runs between the points of attachment. Rim, glazed on top.
On the outside the glaze is thin and streaked; on the inside more carefully applied.
