Title:   Black Figure Tripod Pyxis Fragment
Category:   Pottery
Description:   Fragment preserves a piece of the finished left edge: above and to right broken. Part of a drilled (mend?) hole remains at upper right hand corner of fragment. Decoration depicts feet of woman, man and horse. Between the woman's feet, vestige of her skirt hem; in front of the man, vertical row of dots. White is used on a narrow band at the cut-in top of the flaring base, as well as to distinguish the woman's feet. The black of the base smears on the finished left edge. Inside and undersurface lack smooth finish.
