Title:   Lekanis on Stand

Description:   The stand preserved, with the center of the floor, and a small piece of the rim, with one handle. Restored in plaster. Cylindrical stand with projecting rolled base; moderately shallow basin with two grooves at the center of the floor. Projecting rim set off from the wall by a ridge. Small thick horizontal handle stuck up under rim and projecting from beneath it.
Coarse buff clay with small pink core; dull black glaze on interior, rim and top of handle.
Context:   Cistern, hard earth.
