Description: | Most of lower part of bowl and of foot preserved, and small segment of rim with attachment of one handle. Low broad, sharply profiled foot; wide low bowl with plain almost flat lip. In center, eight interlaced stamped palmettes, closely surrounded by five close-set concentric bands of rouletting. On underside of foot, deeply scratched: <graphic> Fair black glaze; reserved, a groove on bearing surface of foot and a narrow band at top of cavetto on outside of foot ring. | |
