Neatly incised under rim on exterior, with a tasseled frame (taenia?): <graphic>
Glazed inside and out; inside and on rim, good black glaze; outside, mottled with red. Shape and fabric something as P 10577 (latest 5th. c.).
ADDENDA Two fragments joining to right of inscription found after photographing; P.W. as joined, 0.13.
Context:   Green sandy earth, "drain".
