Description: | From a very large kantharos, possibly a pyxis lid(?). Rim piece with edge of lower wall preserved. Slightly concave rim separated from lower wall by flange which is broken away. Groove scratched through glaze on rim and on underside of flange. Decoration in thinned clay and white: drops on rim, wreaths on wall. Pinkish-buff clay. Black glaze inside and out. | |
