Description:   Mended from eleven pieces. Right end of zone as preserved.
Remains of a pair of confronted sphinxes with palmette filling ornament between. To the left a panther, with dot-rosette under body; followed by another sphinx (fragmentary). Remains of accessory white, thickly laid. Glazed flange flares to profiled rim. Resting surface reserved; underside otherwise covered with good black glaze.
Context:   Rectangular rockcut shaft.
