Title:   Red Figure Louterion Fragments

Description:   Many fragments of a large vase (louterion), mending up to ten; the two larger strengthened with plaster; preserved are parts of the wall, from below the figured zone to the inward curve of the shoulder, with parts, or traces, of three handles. Egg and dot border below scene. Careful, vigourous work; relief contour; free use of brown.
Inside firm black, slightly streaky; no glaze on underside of shoulder.
