Title:   Black Figure Lekanis Fragment

Description:   Fragment from wall of large lekanis. Parts of two animal zones preserved; in the upper, part of the body and the four legs of a deer(?) right. In lower zone, two boars, locked in fight. Incised rosettes in field. Purple for the deer's belly; for the necks of the boars, and for dots on the petals of the rosettes. Inside, streaky black glaze.
Context:   Late Roman fill beneath west wall of room I.
