Title:   Black Figure Lekythos

Description:   Mended from ten pieces. Mouth, handle and most of back missing, plus a few fragments from front. Base complete. Combat scene on shoulder, Dionysos and satyrs around body. The shoulder figures suggest pygmies by their attitude with cloak and club, but their build is not that of the pygmy as usually represented. Red for hair, beards, garment folds and dots, also in a line at base of neck and a pair round top of glazed portion of body.
