Title:   Black Glaze Lekane

Description:   Fragments missing from wall and rim, and one handle. Restored in plaster. Small high ring foot; steeply flaring sides rounded above; narrow outcurved lip; band handles at point of greatest circumference. Outside of foot and handles glazed and the lip, inside and out; on the wall, inside and out, glaze bands, widely spaced, with a wavy band in the handle zone. Curving lines around handle attachments.
Pinkish clay; firm brown glaze.
Context:   Clearing S.W. corner of primitive Bouleuterion (Building C), from contemporary filling along south wall, beginning of 6th c.
