Title:   Black Figure Oinochoe

Description:   Many fragments join to form largest fragment. In addition, one large non-joining fragment gives most of the base and there are four others, non-joining. Surface badly pitted and worn. The panel is bordered above by a tongue pattern, on the sides by a double row of dots joined in zigzag, on the bottom by a narrow band of red. The scene depicts an armed warrior in the center, woman to left facing him. A second woman on his right is turned right (head, shoulders and feet missing). White for flesh of women and the device on the shield (octopus). Red on the helmet, greave-edge, and in dots on the garments. Incision for interior details.
