Title:   Black Figure Lekythos

Description:   Mended from many fragments; the neck, several pieces from the sides missing and chips from the base. Scene depicts two warriors fighting between two spectators. The lefthand warrior has pushed his opponent to his knee. The two spectators carry long staves (extra spears?). Added red for fillets, dots on garments and shields, baldricks and shield rims. On the shoulder, a row of short strokes around base of neck and interlacing ivy pattern.
