Description: | Mended from many pieces; a small bit of the slightly offset rim and of the outer edge of the base preserved. Restored in plaster. Decoration similar to P 1371, but with black dots within the interlacing lines, and dots of white(?) and accessory red on the palmettes. Two circles on center inside. High plain stem; flaring foot with thin beveled edge; underside unglazed. ADDENDA P 1371: Reserved, outside: handle zone, top of stem underneath, the resting surface and outer edge of foot, narrow band below handle zone; inside: a line just within the edge of the rim, the center with small glazed circle. Handle zone decorated with palmettes. | |
