Description: | Six non-joining fragments, made up of eight, preserve parts of rim and foot of a large heavy lekanis with horned handles and slightly out-turned rim. Below a broad band of tongues, there is a frieze of harpies; rays below. Bars on rim and handles. Purple for hair and parts of wings of sirens, on the tongues, and for at least three horizontal bands inside. Gritty clay, pinkish-buff to buff; black glaze inside, rough and much worn.
