Description:   Fragment from a handle; double concave shape, probably the handle from a large lid. Broken at both ends. Decoration in zones, heraldic to a central line of alternating guilloche and zigzags. In the upper zone horses' feet; next sphinxes with uplifted paws; next horses; next sphinxes; lowest probably a horse.
Buff clay, lustrous glaze.
ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ:   Λαβή Πρωτοαττικού αγγείου που φέρει γεωμετρική διακόσμηση και παραστάσεις ζώων σε επάλληλες ζώνες. Πρώιμος 7ος αιώνας.
