Title:   Red Figure Oinochoe Fragment

Description:   Four joining fragments preserve part of body of an oinochoe. At left, head and shoulders and part of drapery over legs of a figure right and the head of a panther he is riding. At right, Eros, left, with one arm outstretched and wings outspread. His body white with yellow over-painting; the wings were painted in color, now vanished, on a reddish ground. The fillets of both figures were done in added clay.
Good glaze on exterior; interior, streaks of dull glaze.
Context:   Unfinished cistern, container 9. Context "second quarter to middle 4th."
