Description:   Mended from many pieces; much missing; restored in plaster except for the lip, which was broken or cut off neatly all around. Heavy flaring ring foot; broad eggy body; straight neck (the lip missing). Bands of glaze widely spaced on walls; zone of compass-drawn concentric circles on shoulder; with pairs of small zigzags as filling ornaments; handles glazed, with pendent strokes at either side.
Micaceous red clay; glaze red to black, worn; the surface much damaged; the lower part gray.
Context:   Theseion Cella, layer I, modern floor of museum, in general near south door. One bit from bottom of Grave XXI indicates possible provenience; earth here, however, was disturbed.
Handling:   dust-free.
