Title:   Black Figure Lekythos Fragment

Description:   About one-half of the shoulder and the body are preserved. A row of staggered dots forming the top border stops over the handle. Double row of rays on shoulder. Combat scene of Amazon kneeling left but twisting around to face hoplite. Behind her, the elbow of a Greek. Applied white used for flesh of Amazon, for tripod on shield, for dots on helmet and for sword strap of Greek.
