Title:   Black Glaze Skyphos: Stamped and Type C

Description:   Center of floor and over half of body missing; stubs of one handle and traces of attachment of other preserved. High moulded ring foot. Rounded wall, flaring very slightly. Out-turned lip, the rim slightly offset inside. On floor, four stamped palmettes within a circle of stamped egg pattern, the latter enclosed within grooves.
Good black glaze scratched away from a narrow line at base of wall on exterior. Space within foot reserved except for a broad and two narrow bands of glaze.
