Title:   Red Figure Aryballos Fragments

Description:   Two non-joining fragments.
a) Most of shoulder and part of upper body, made up from three pieces. Heads of two women right, the front one carrying a large bowl with handle, uncertain object at edge of break.
b) Bit of the shoulder and a large part of one side of the body, made up of three pieces. Parts of three figures, from left: front part, head missing, of draped figure, right; seated nude male, with boots and staff, right; dancing maenad, left, draped, sword in one hand, dead animal in the other.
Palmette pattern on shoulder and border of egg pattern at its base. Ground line of egg pattern.
Conservation Status:   Finished
Context:   West Terrace, south end, early fill, layer IV.
