Description:   From a pitcher with rounded lower body and high straight-walled upper body; part of upper body and plain rim preserved; partially restored in plaster. Vertical strut at back to handle, which is missing. Dots on upper face of lip; glaze bands below, inside and out; upper body divided into panels; in the one panel that is preserved, a deer with head turned back; to the sides, verticals, a column of diagonals and a panel of checkerboard; below the panel zone, bands and a row of dots.
Pinkish-buff clay. Black to dark brown glaze.
Context:   Pit below east part of Odeion Cavea.
