Title:   Skyphos: Corinthian Type

Description:   One handle and rim fragment restored in plaster. Low ring foot and rather shallow wide body; rim turned slightly in. Rings and dot inside foot underneath. Above foot, outside, a zone with rounded petals in place of rays. Rest of outside, and inside, glazed. Traces of added color: thin line above petals, another halfway up body: probably white lines bordering a purple band. Another thin line just below the handle zone, probably the lower white border of a purple band in the handle zone.
Attic skyphos of Corinthian type.
