Description:   About half the upper part of the neck, with the top of one handle, preserved. Projecting rim, flat on top, and with a sharp ridge below it. Heavy arched handle, grooved on the top.
Incised on one side of the neck near the handle: <graphic>
Brick red clay; purplish glaze wash.
Notes:   Previously North Basement-Jar Fragments, Block IX (Late 2nd.-3rd. c. A.D.).
Context:   N-S Trench V, immediately above floor level.
