Title:   Moldmade Bowl

Description:   Mended from many pieces; the rim fragmentary but more than half preserved. Restored in plaster. In the medallion, a rosette; around it a heavy beaded ring from which spring two overlapping rows of ribbed leaves, the alternate leaves longer. On the tip of each shorter leaf, a large krater, ribbed, and with a ribbed base, to either side of which stands a meditative satyr. Large and small rosettes in the field. Upper zone: guilloche, then a row of beading; above, alternating double spirals in pairs, each pair topped by a small leaf.
Firm, somewhat metallic glaze. Miltos prominent on the raised ring around the rosette and for band (not a scraped groove) beneath the rim.
