Title:   Moldmade Bowl

Description:   Mended from many pieces; the upper part fragmentary; the profile complete. Restored in plaster. Medallion, rosette (very faint). Around it a beaded ring from which rises a double row of grooved leaves, overlapping. Around the bowl, pairs of cocks, the beaks of each pair meeting over a large ribbed krater, and a krater also between each pair. This zone interrupted once, by a standing personage right, nude, with elaborate wings, and carrying in his left hand a tall palm branch. Above, flying water birds and Nikai, alternating. Upper zone, ovolo, beaded line, and rosettes, all faint.
Glaze dull inside, somewhat metallic outside, and worn in places.
