Description: | Two joining fragments give the bottom part of the wall. Restored in plaster. In the medallion, a small rosette; around it a beaded ring from which springs a zone of grooved leaves, each with the central vein dotted. In the figured zone, satyrs, standing or dancing between pairs of cocks; birds in the field; above, birds and Erotes alternating. Upper zone: band of inverted ovolos, then a beaded line, then pairs of reverse spirals topped by small leaves. Dull glaze, fired red to black. | |
