Title:   Bowl: West Slope

Description:   Many fragments preserving about half of rim and wall. Restored in plaster. Nearly hemispherical bowl with slightly out-turned rim. Four scraped grooves preserved on outside; on inside double groove below rim, another at bottom. Decoration in white and clay paint: narrow jewelled wreaths alternating with sprays; in bottom, star with white and clay paint rays.
Slightly metallic black glaze inside burned red on rim and on outside.
Context:   Komos cistern.
