Title:   Lid: West Slope

Description:   Mended from many fragments; most of rim missing. Wide conical lid with vertical rim and large cup-shaped knob. Grooves on outside, one just in from edge, the other somewhat below knob. Decoration: clay paint wavy line, white dots either side; two crudely incised squares with cross lines, one on each side of lid.
Pinkish-buff clay; very poor, flaking brownish-black glaze burned red on and around knob.
