Title:   Black Figure Amphora Fragment

Description:   A small piece of the upper part of the side panel is preserved showing a bit of the black shoulder and the two horizontal lines of dilute wash edging the scene. The face and front part of the hair of a boy and the head and much of the neck of a horse remain. The reins of the horse are in dilute glaze.
Below, to the right of the horse's head: <graphic> (mock inscription?)
Interior unglazed; good black glaze.
