Title:   Black Glaze Askos: Double-Bodied

Description:   Fragment from one side, part of one spout and most of the other, and the handle, missing. Double conical body on broad ring foot; the upper body rising steeply to a central peak; a moulded ring around this peak and another half way down to the shoulder. The body inside divided horizontally in two parts, with a spout for each at opposite sides. Substantial spout flaring to angular profiled rim. Attachment preserved for basket handle from spout to spout; a small boss beside the attachment.
Thick black glaze, somewhat metallic, outside except underneath, and on inside of spouts.
