Title:   Moldmade Bowl

Description:   Three joining fragments preserve part of side from center of bottom to below lip. Restored in plaster. Medallion with square-ended petals within a broad scraped groove. Above, a double row of rather large leaves. In the figured zone, above a band of flying birds, a goat, leaping right, followed by another animal. Upper zone, guilloche, with traces of small leaves above. Rather roughly made; the upper part not well pressed into the mould.
Good black glaze, somewhat worn outside.
Context:   House E, Room 3, tank, beside north wall. Hellenistic fill.
