Title:   Panathenaic Amphora Fragment

Description:   Small piece with part of neck, shoulder and shield of Athena. Athena to left, the aegis worn diagonally from her shoulder. Added red for dots on rim of shield; white for neck and two bands of dots on drapery.
Excellent black glaze; clay burned or stained gray-buff; careful incision.
Context:   Roman fill to 2nd. c. A.D.
