Title:   Black Figure Lekanis Fragment

Description:   Fragment from wall of bowl with flat-topped projecting rim. On top of rim, running dog pattern. On wall, parts of two sirens, left; the single head preserved facing back right. Incised rosette in field. Added red for flesh, for wing, for alternating wing feathers and rosette petals. Two bands of thin glaze below rim; black, worn, inside. Careful incision, including outlines.
Context:   Roman fill to 2nd. c. A.D.
