Title:   Black Figure Neck Amphora Fragment

Description:   From the neck of an amphora. Tongue pattern from base of neck, alternately red and black. On the shoulder, wreathed head, right; branch at left; at right, spear of wheat and oblique line close to break.
Clay pinkish-buff; inside, traces of glaze at base of neck; wall unglazed. Red, mostly vanished, for the wreath. Incision for the wheat-ear.
Context:   Brown house, layer 6, 5th. c. fill.
