Title:   Amphora Fragment: West Slope

Description:   Preserved from lip to shoulder; much of lip missing. Decoration in applied yellow: two-strand garland on each side of neck, with dots. Alternating checkerboard and diminishing rectangles around shoulder. Twisted handles with a satyr mask in relief at each lower attachment.
Pinkish-buff clay; good black glaze.
Context:   Cistern, containers 6 and 7, lower fill.
