Description: | Handles missing, except for the stub of one on one side. Heavy, offset, slightly overhanging lip, edged near the top by a narrow groove. High, solid ring base set off from the low, bulging sides by a groove near the top of the foot. The handles were horizontal and upward-curving, and round in section. On the interior, a stamped design of four connected palmettes enclosing a circle, and in turn enclosed by four or five rows of rouletting. Attic clay; fair black glaze worn gray in spots. | |
