Title:   Moldmade Bowl Fragments

Description:   a) Wall fragment from a large bowl; mended from two pieces.
b) Medallion: six-petalled rosette. Calyx of small pointed leaves. Base of acanthus and numphaea nelumbo.
c) Lower part of acanthus leaf.
d) Large bloom and rim pattern (egg and dart).
On the wall is a large leaf, outlined in relief, with tendrils and small buds to either side. Upper zone, egg and dart above a raised line.
Good black glaze on interior but almost entirely peeled off on exterior.
