Title:   Panathenaic Amphora Fragments

Description:   Two wall fragments.
a) Athena, left; neck, part of upper body and of shield preserved. White on neck and for dots at edge of aegis. Purple for shield rim, and for border of garment at neck. Considerable incision: the aegis speckled all over and the snakes at the edge incised; incised cross on sleeve.
b) Fragment from shield. Device in white; owl, left, standing on scrolls. Feathers incised through the white.
