Title:   Potter's Test Piece

Description:   Irregular fragment from side wall of medium-sized open(?) pot, probably a goblet or a krater. Traces of attachment of horizontal rolled handle, which had fallen off or been pulled off, preserved. Glaze only on interior: gray-black, applied in broad crossing brush strokes, running into break at one side.
Light bluish-gray where glaze has peeled and at core; surface, dirty gray-buff.
