Title:   Plate Fragment: West Slope and Stamped

Description:   About one-eighth of plate preserved giving profile except for center. Ring foot; flat floor; gently rising rim; edge grooved above and below. Scraped line at lower limit of rim both inside and out.
Stamped palmette on floor.
Wreath in white with red flower on upper side of rim.
Dark buff clay. Good black-brownish glaze, partly worn. Attic.

Context:   Piers 15-16 east, cutting strosis level of bottom of 8th course (B 53). Fill over floor of Square Building.
