Title:   Black Glaze Pyxis

Description:   Footed pyxis. Fragment giving profile of wall; foot chipped, center of floor missing. Restored in plaster. Small deep pyxis, the lower body rounded, set off from the upper vertical wall by a broad keel. Narrow projecting rim and slightly incurved vertical rim to take lid.
Firm black glaze, rather thin and streaky; edges of keel and rim reserved.
Context:   Middle Stoa, building fill, disturbed with Byz. Container 92.
